Gophers finish in second at Bluegold Invite

The University of Minnesota women's country team competed at the Bluegold Invitational on Friday afternoon in Eau Claire, Wis. Minnesota finished second overall with a team total of 54 points, on the 6-kilometer course.
Andrea Rediger was the first Gopher to cross the line as she came in at 22:23.5, for a sixth place finish and Mikaya
Larson came across in eighth, with a time of 22:29.6. Stephanie Solfelt clocked in at 22:38.3 for 12th place.
Another portion of the squad will compete tomorrow morning at the South Dakota State Invitational. The gun it set to go off at 10 a.m. CT.
