Minnesota head coach Pam Borton
On Nebraska's run to end the first half and open the second half
"In the beginning of the game we had some really good looks, but I thought that we missed a lot of shots around the rim. We had good looks, whether they were hustle plays or attacking out of our offense, and we just couldn't buy a basket in the paint. I think when your offense struggles and you aren't hitting shots, it affects your defense a little bit and that's when Emily Cady and Jordan Hooper got themselves going beyond the three-point line."
On the difference between tonight's game and the game vs. Michigan State
"Anytime you go on the road there are certain things that you have to do, especially coming into an environment like this and playing against a team that is ranked in the Top 25. We shot two percent less than Nebraska and I think we needed a few more of those shots around the rim to fall in. On the road we have to be able to play defense and we have to be a little tougher. We are not going to be able to control a lot of the shots that we miss, but we have to be able to do that on the road to have a chance. We got caught playing their style. We need to play with more poise. We got caught up feeling really rushed out there and I think offensively they put a lot of pressure on us with how they pushed the ball."
