Gophers Back at No. 8 in the National Rankings

After two weeks of competition the Gophers are ranked No. 8 nationally. They fell one spot from No. 7 last week. With two meets under their belt, the team's average score is 339.4.

Senior DJ Repp moved to No. 16 in the all-around rankings.

On the floor exercise freshman Kyle Banks is ranked 11th. John Scallon moved to No. 18 on the pommel horse.

Zack Chase leads the team with a No. 2 ranking on vault after a strong performance last weekend. Josh Wokurka and Adam Kern also represent the Gophers on vault. They are tied for 17th. As a team Minnesota moved up to a No. 5 ranking on the event.

The Gophers also hold a No. 5 national team ranking on the parallel bars. Senior Ross Cameratta improved from 11th to 7th this week. Teammate Russell Dabritz is ranked at No. 11.

The Gophers compete against the Air Force Academy in Colorado this weekend.
