Gophers Jump Two Spots to No. 6 in National Rankings

The Gophers have moved up two spots from No. 8 to No. 6 in the national rankings after their win over the Air Force Academy this past weekend.

Senior DJ Repp remains ranked in the top 20 in the all-around standings. He is currently at No. 18.

On the floor exercise freshman Kyle Banks represents the Gophers with a No. 12 ranking.

Harris Coleman's return to the lineup over the weekend put him in a tie for 13th on the pommel horse. Also on pommel horse, John Scallon moved up three spots to No. 15.

Zack Chase still leads the team on vault and is tied at No. 5 in the national standings. Teammate Adam Kern is part of a three-way tie for the No. 17 spot.

As a team the Gophers have moved into a tie for the No. 2 ranking on the parallel bars. Seniors Russell Dabritz and Ross Cameratta are ranked 8th and 11th respectively.

Dabritz also is ranked at No. 20 on the still rings.

The next team meet is February 11th against Iowa and Nebraska.
