The No. 13 University of Minnesota men's swimming and diving team will play host to Big Ten-foe Iowa Friday night at the University Aquatic Center. Events are scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.

The Gophers are coming off a, 191-100, victory over Wisconsin last weekend, where they claimed first-place honors in 13 of the 16 events to improve to 1-1 on the season.

The veterans played a big role in the win over the Badgers, as juniors Kyler Van Swol and Derek Toomey each provided four victories on the night for Minnesota. Senior captain Jared Anderson also added three first-place honors for the Gophers.

Minnesota matches up against the Hawkeyes who are 1-0 on the season after taking down Michigan State, 185-108.
