After leading the team on the pitch in 2012, Taylor Uhl has been selected to the NCAA Division I Women's All-Great Lakes Region First Team, as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Uhl is one of seven representatives of the Big Ten Conference to earn a spot on the first team and becomes the first Gopher to do so since Kylie Kallman in 2010.

Uhl finished the season with 21 goals, nine assists, and 82 shots. At the end of the season, she held the top spot in the nation in points (51) and tied for first in goals. She also ranked first in the Big Ten Conference with 2.55 points per game and 1.05 goals per game, statistics that placed her second nationally.

Uhl set multiple new records for Gopher Women's Soccer. She notched three hat tricks in a single season, for a school-best of five in her career. After two years of play, Uhl already ranks fifth on Minnesota's career leaderboard in both points (85) and goals (36).
