In the 174-pound weight class, No. 1 Chris Perry put the exclamation point on the Cowboys' streak with a major decision (12-4) over Gopher Alec Ortiz Perry's major gave the Cowboys a comfortable 22-6 lead with three rounds to go.

Minnesota's heavier weights came in looking to even the score and swept the final three bouts to end the day on a high-note. No. 3 Kevin Steinhaus put away No. 17 Chris Chionuma with an 8-6 decision and No. 9 Scott Schiller followed with a 6-2 decision over Oklahoma State's Zach White.
