Gopher Volleyball Set for Fan Bus to Purdue

Creative Charters has organized a bus trip as the Golden Gopher volleyball team plays in the West Lafayette Regional, hosted by Purdue University. With a departure on Friday morning, the price includes all transportation as well as a one-night hotel stay in West Lafayette, Ind. Minnesota will face Purdue (23-10) on Friday, Dec. 7 at 6:00 p.m. CT. Prior to the Gopher/Boilermaker match will be the No. 1 seed Penn State (28-3) and No. 16 seed Kentucky (22-10) contest, at 4 p.m. CT. The winner of each match will compete for the NCAA Regional Final on Dec. 8, 4 p.m., and a trip to the NCAA Final Four. Of the 16 teams that advanced, six hail from the Big Ten Conference, including three in the Purdue Regional. Also making it to the Sweet 16 was Nebraska (Omaha Region), Michigan and Michigan State (California Region).
