Head Coach Pam Borton
Opening Statement:
"It was a great effort, the players looked like they had a lot of fun out there. We had great balance scoring, I thought this game was doing exactly what we wanted it to do. A lot of our younger players were getting a lot of time out there. The more games we can get in and the more playing time we can get, the better it will be for our whole team moving forward. Overall I was very pleased by what we saw."
On keeping the team fresh coming off of the BIG 10 lay off:
"I think it is really hard for any team coming off the big 10 tournament lay off and go into a big tournament. We had to just get back to the basics and fundamentals. We were focused and had two great practices. We were sharp, focused, and we look like we are on all four cylinders right now."
On importance to playing at home during the post season:
"Well I am not sure if it really matters to be playing at home or on the road in the post season. Right now it just really matters that we are playing games, practicing, competing, and getting better. We have practiced and hopefully we have two or three more weeks of basketball here.
On getting fans out here for Sunday's game:
"There's definitely a lot going on tonight with the hockey games and high school games, there's a lot of exciting stuff going on right now but hopefully we will get a bigger crowd out here on Sunday."

Freshman guard Rachel Banham On how she thought things went:
"I think everyone played really well, everyone stepped up, and everyone contributed. I helped a lot around the line. I think I am happy with everything tonight."
Sophomore forward Micaella Riche
On what it means to play in the postseason:
"We are playing in March, and it really means a lot we play in March here. This is my second year here. As a team, everyone gets excited, we keep the energy up. It is really nice to get the experience and get the feel to play the madness."
