Seven Gophers Headed to NCAA Indoor Championships

The NCAA Division I Men's Track and Field Committee announced the participants in the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The championships will be held March 9-10 in Nampa, Idaho and Minnesota qualified seven of its members to be a part of the championships. The Gophers will be represented in the 800 meters, 5,000 meters, 4x400 meter relay, and weight throw.
Harun Abda, David Pachuta and Travis Burkstrand will compete in the 800 meters for the Gophers. Hassan Mead will run in the 5,000 meters and Micah Hegerle will compete in the weight throw. Racing in the 4x400 relay will be Kevin Bradley, Abda, Pachuta and John Holton.
ESPN3 will stream the meet live on March 9 from 7:30-11:45 p.m. ET and March 10 from 8-11:15 p.m. ET. A tape delay of the championship will air Sunday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
NCAA.com and broncosports.com will stream what ESPN3 is not covering on Friday (Noon-7:30 p.m. ET) and Saturday (12:30-8 pm ET).
