Minnesota will tee off at the Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss. this weekend. The tournament will run Friday-Sunday. The event can be followed live at golfstat.com.

The Gophers will be in competition for the first time in three weeks. Last time out, Minnesota had a season-best score of 908 at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz.

Head coach Michele Redman says the time off has benefitted the team. "We have had some extra time to do some chipping and putting. We have been really fortunate with the weather. I think it has been good."

The Field: A 15-team field will head to the Rebel Intercollegiate. Minnesota will be joined by Baylor, Harvard, Kansas State, Maryland, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi State, Missouri, Murray State, Ole Miss, Redlands, Rollins, Southern Mississippi and Tulsa. Baylor comes in with the highest ranking (No. 13/18). Coach Redman says she is excited about what this field brings. "It is a good field for us to see how we are going to fair against some of the better teams. There are some teams that we should definitely be ahead of by the end of the weekend."

The Course: The par-72 Ole Miss Golf Course is located just a few miles from University of Mississippi's main campus. The course underwent a $3.5 Million renovation in October of 2008. The course is 7,028 yards in length.

Notes: After traveling to "The Magnolia State," the Gophers will be back in action at the Lady Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio on April 21-22.
