Two Gopher Women Compete on Seventh Day of Olympic Trials

Juniors Erin Caflisch and Tess Behrens represented the Minnesota women's swimming team on the seventh day of the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb., as the pair competed in the preliminaries of the 50-meter freestyle Sunday.
Caflisch finished the event in a time of 26.54 to pace the Gophers and finish 100th overall, while Behrens registered a time of 26.89 to finish 135th overall.
Tomorrow evening's session will include finals of the 50-meter freestyle and the 1,500-meter freestyle.
