Minnesota to Hold Jr. Gopher Camp

The Minnesota women's gymnastics team will hold its 2014 Jr. Gopher Camp Sat., Jan. 4 at the Peik Gymnasium. The camp, hosted by Golden Gopher women's gymnastics coaches and alumni for kids between the ages of six and 12, commences at 8:30 a.m.
Following check-in, the day will kick off with a warm up and stretch followed by four 30-minute rotations and an hour-long lunch and coach and player Q&A period.
After lunch, campers will go through two more rotations before being walked by the coaches to the Sports Pavilion where there will be a practice rehearsal, a lesson about official scoring, and a pizza party preceding the Gophers' intrasquad meet.
After the meet, there will be an autograph and photo session with the team.
