Minnesota Head Coach Pam Borton

Opening Statement
"Well, obviously this is a very disappointing loss and something that we weren't expecting. I felt like we got off to a very slow start offensively, but overall we shot under 30 percent for the game and turned the ball over 18 times, and it's tough to win a basketball game with those stats."

Ball State Head Coach Brady Sallee

Opening Statement
"Clearly, we are excited. To be able to come into Minnesota's gym and do what we did defensively was great. You got to see what we have been all year. We are a defensive team and we are used to winning games shooting 37 percent, believe it or not. But, that is kind of a comfort zone for us. I thought that we had to be tough and we had to hang on there for dear life and make some plays at the end. I give them credit. They didn't go away. Riche, holy cow, she is a lot to handle. Luckily, she was saddled with foul trouble and didn't play the minutes that she needed to, and that was probably the story of the game."
