MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota men's outdoor track and field program ranks No. 24 in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national poll, the organization released on Tuesday.

The Gophers are coming off an impressive performance at the John McDonnell Invitational, tying for first at the meet against some of the top teams in the country. Minnesota's 137 team points tied for first with 2013 NCAA indoor champion and No. 2 Arkansas while both programs topped No. 1 Texas A&M in third as well as No. 17 Oklahoma and No. 23 Oklahoma State.

Minnesota has now been ranked in the national top 25 in all four polls by the USTFCCCA this season. The program earned 82.88 total points in this week's poll as one of five Big Ten schools in the poll.
