Gophers Announce Plans for Road Trip: Chalk Talk 2013

Are you ready to hit the road with Golden Gopher Athletics? You may not have to travel far, because chances are the "Gopher Road Trip: Chalk Talk" will be coming to a city near you. Today, University of Minnesota Director of Athletics Norwood Teague announced plans for the first annual trek across the wonderful State of Minnesota.
"This is an unbelievable opportunity for our staff here at the University of Minnesota to connect with our passionate fans across this great state," said Teague. "Many of our fans are not able to make it to campus as often to cheer on the Gophers, so this is a way for us to bring Minnesota athletics to them. I am looking forward to getting out into greater Minnesota, meeting and listening to Gopher fans."
The "Gopher Road Trip: Chalk Talk" entails a 16-city tour around Minnesota, beginning on May 16 in Redwood Falls. Each visit will include Teague, select Gopher head coaches, athletics staff and of course, Goldy Gopher.

Pre-registration is encouraged via the website as events may fill quickly. Wear your Maroon and Gold to support Golden Gopher Athletics as they visit your community.
