University of Minnesota head men's and women's swimming and diving coach Kelly Kremer and assistant coach Steve Miller announced Friday that Bryce Boston (Eden Prairie, Minn.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to swim for the Gophers beginning in the 2013-14 season.

"Anytime we sign a Minnesota State Champion, it's exciting," Miller said. "Bryce has been coached extremely well by Kelly Boston of Eden Prairie High School and Ben Bartel of Minnetonka Swim Club. Bryce has a lot of raw speed and quickness and he will strengthen our sprints and butterfly events."

Boston was the 2012 Minnesota Class AA 100 butterfly state champion and was a key leg on Eden Prairie's state record-setting relays. Boston is also a Junior National qualifier.
