Emie Peronnin Signs NLI with Minnesota

Emie Peronnin has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to golf at the University of Minnesota, head coach Michele Redman announced today. Peronnin will be eligible to compete during the 2013-14 season.

Peronnin, a native of Fréjus, France, attends Lycée Albert Camus. The right-handed golfer held a 74.7 stroke average in 2012.

Her best career round score was a 3-under-par 65. Peronnin's tournament wins include the Grand Prix de Fontcaude, the Grand Prix de la Grande Motte and the Coupes Yves Caillo. She has also finished eighth at the French Cup and ninth at the French National Championship.

Peronnin, a member of the 2010 French Junior Team, is also an accomplished handball player and track and field athlete.
