Dating back to head coach Pam Borton's arrival in 2002, members of the University of Minnesota women's basketball team have prided themselves on success off the court as well as on, and the 2013 spring semester was no different, as five Golden Gophers posted a 3.0 grade point average or better during the term.

Micaëlla Riché and Sari Noga were both named to the Dean's List, which honors students with a 3.666 GPA or higher, while the pair, along with Katie Loberg, also earned spots on the Gold Honor Roll for earning a 3.5-4.0 GPA.

Shayne Mullaney and Jackie Johnson rounded out the quintet by being placed on the Maroon Honor Roll, which recognizes students with a 3.0-3.49 GPA.

As a team, Minnesota posted a 3.176 GPA during the spring semester, which follows up an impressive 3.348 team GPA during the fall semester. The Gophers have secured a 3.0 GPA or better in each of Borton's 11 years as head coach.
