Gophers Holding Tryouts In September

Want to be a member of the Minnesota softball team? Now you can. The team is holding tryouts this September.

If you are a student at the University of Minnesota and are interested in trying out for the team, please contact coach Piper Ritter at Mart1003@umn.edu for more information, including dates, times and locations.

The Gophers went 36-19 last year despite playing only six home games. Minnesota, which advanced to the Big Ten championship game, earned a spot in the NCAA tournament last season for the first time since 2003.
