Gophers Travel to Texas for Rawls Invite

The Minnesota women's golf team takes part in its penultimate fall tournament this weekend, as the Gophers travel to the Lone Star State for the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational. The three-day event, taking place at the par-72, 6,225-yard University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, begins Sunday.
Coming off a 10th place finish at the Windy City Collegiate Classic, the Gophers will battle among a 15-team field that includes host Texas, Big Ten school Indiana, along with SMU, Iowa State, New Mexico, Tulane, Baylor, Miami, UNCW, UTSA, Tulsa, UC Irvine, UNLV and San Diego State.
Action will begin with 8:15 a.m. tee times on each of the three days.
