MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Golden Gophers are preparing to host the University of North Dakota at the newly renamed Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. The Minnesota women are currently 2-0 after there dominating wins against Arizona State and Wisconsin. On the men's side, their record stands at 1-1 after a win against Arizona State and a close loss to Wisconsin.
THE OPPONENT
The University of North Dakota will head to Minneapolis to take on the University of Minnesota. UND men are currently 4-2 on the season, and the women hold an undefeated record (6-0) on the season. During the last meet against the University of North Dakota, the Gopher men and women defeated UND. Highlights from the 2013 dual include then freshman Maddie Hoch winning the 200 IM and 200 free and Dylan Zoe sweeping the diving competition.

The annual Pack the Pool event will hit the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on Friday, Oct. 31 beginning at 5:00 p.m. as the Gophers host the Iowa Hawkeyes. The first 50 U of M students will receive a free t-shirt and the 100th fan will receive an autographed swim cap! The night will include trick-or-treating, giveaways, music and more.
