GOPHERS HOST IOWA HAWKEYES
The University of Minnesota welcomes the Iowa Hawkeyes to town Saturday night, 7 p.m. The match marks the only meeting between the two teams this season. The Golden Gophers and the Hawkeyes compete in their 83rd all-time meeting Saturday as the Gophers hold a 70-12 mark against Iowa, dating back to 1975.

Saturday's match will be streamed on BTN Plus through BTN2Go. A subscription is needed for BTN Plus. The matches will also have a live blog as well as live stats available on gophersports.com.
RIVALRY DAY TICKET PACKAGE
The University of Minnesota is set to offer a Rivalry Day ticket package for Oct. 25 as women's hockey takes on North Dakota at 4 p.m., while volleyball hosts Iowa at 7 p.m. Fans can purchase a women's hockey general admission ticket, a volleyball reserved ticket and a $5 concession voucher, all for just $15. The match also marks Minnesota's annual Dig Pink event and also marks an autograph night.
ON THE DOCKET
Minnesota will compete in four-straight road matches before returning to the Sports Pavilion on Nov. 12. The Gophers travel to Indiana, Oct. 29 and Purdue, Nov. 1. The Gophers are then on the road at Michigan State and Michigan, Nov. 7-8. Minnesota's next home match against the Northwestern Wildcats is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
ABOUT THE HAWKEYES
Iowa enters tonight's match with a 9-11 overall record and a 1-8 conference mark. The Hawkeyes, under first-year head coach Bond Shymansky, earned their Big Ten Conference win as they defeated Northwestern, Oct. 18, in five sets. The Hawkeyes played at No. 5 Wisconsin Wednesday, with a three-set loss (25-15, 25-22, 25-19) to the Badgers. Iowa is led by Lauren Brobst, who has 177 kills. Alex Lovell follows behind with 163 kills, while Alessandra Dietz is hitting .331. Setters Kaylee Smith and Alyssa Klostermann have 393 and 340 assists, respectively. Michelle Fugarino has a team-high 272 digs, followed by Julianne Blomberg with 129.
GOPHERS HONOR 2004 FINAL FOUR TEAM
The University of Minnesota is honoring its 2004 Final Four Team at today's intermission. The Gophers finished that season with a 33-5 overall record, a second-straight trip to the NCAA Final Four as the Gophers advanced to the program's first national championship appearance.
BTN TELEVISION;SCHEDULE UPDATE
The Big Ten Network and the Big Ten Conference has announced that Minnesota's match at Purdue (11/1) will be picked up by the network and televised live. Due to the television lineup, the start time has also been adjusted to begin at 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET. The wildcard addition will mark the sixth time this season a Gopher match is televised and the second time on the road.
