MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota (6-1) women's basketball team caps off a four-game road swing Wednesday, as it is set to face NC State (5-2) in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at 6 p.m. CT at Reynolds Coliseum. The game will air live on ESPN3, while fans can listen to the Gopher Women's Basketball radio team of Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist on 1500 ESPN.

• The Gophers are coming off a fifth-place finish in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Fort Myers, Fla., where they posted a 2-1 record. They opened the event with a 71-54 loss to Vanderbilt, before posting back-to-back wins over College of Charleston, 74-50, and Georgia Tech, 72-69.
• With a 6-1 overall record, the Maroon and Gold has garnered two votes in this week's AP Top 25 poll.
• The Gophers rank 15th in the NCAA with a 6.1 block-per-game average, while they also rank 22nd in scoring offense with an average of 82.4 points per game.
• NC State returns home with a 5-2 record on the season after splitting a pair of contests against Georgia Washington and Texas Tech at the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas last weekend. The Wolfpack fell to the Colonials, 74-66, in the opening game of the event, before bouncing back with a 75-42 win over the Red Raiders to close out the tournament.
• Wednesday's meeting in the ACC/B1G Challenge will mark the fifth meeting between the Gophers and the Wolfpack, with NC State holding a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series. Minnesota picked up its lone win the the squads' last meeting on Nov. 27, 2010, a 71-67 victory at the Nugget Classic in Reno, Nev.
• Minnesota holds a 3-4 record when competing in the ACC/B1G Challenge after picking up a 74-67 win over Miami at Williams Arena in last season's challenge. It will be the first time the Gophers will face NC State in the ACC/B1G Challenge.
• The ACC holds a 42-38 advantage in the ACC/B1G Challenge series, having won or tied the series in each of the previous seven seasons of competition.
• With 25 points against Georgia Tech on Sunday, senior Rachel Banham moved past Carol Ann Shudlick for second place all-time on Minnesota's career scoring register. She currently boasts 2,117 career points and needs 169 points to surpass Lindsay Whalen and become the Gophers' all-time leading scorer.
• Rachel Banham enters Wednesday's contest just six three-point field goals away from becoming Minnesota's all-time leader in three-pointers. The current record of 230 three-pointers is held by Shannon Schonrock (2002-06).
• Senior Shae Kelley is tied for second in NCAA standings with five double-doubles on the season. The forward is the only Gopher to have scored in double figures in each of the first seven games, while she also leads the team with five games with double-figure rebounds.
