• Minnesota closes out non-conference play and a six-game homestand as it hosts UNCW on Saturday afternoon.
• The Gophers have won seven straight games, the last six by double-digits including a 10-point win over Furman on Monday. Their average margin of victory in that span is 24.

Junior Carlos Morris is third in steals (29, 2.4 spg) among B1G players, while senior Maurice Walker is fourth in field goal shooting (.644). Freshman Nate Mason's 50-percent 3-point shooting ranks second, while Senior Andre Hollins ranks fourth in 3-point shooting (.477) and 15th in scoring (14.1 ppg).
• The Gophers are 10-2 on the season, reaching that mark in back-to-back years under second-year head coach Richard Pitino, who earned his 50th career victory on Dec. 8 against North Dakota.
