Opening statement
After about 15 minutes, we knew we were playing a pretty good offensive basketball team.We knew that there would be a lot of long rebounds. A lot of that is on me, with the matchup zone that we were playing. We woke up in the second half and certainly did a lot of good things.
How he got the team to respond at the half...
I yelled at them, very, very loudly. And they responded. I just thought our effort wasn't great, I thought our energy wasn't great, and I think they needed to be woken up a little bit.
On getting so many points off turnovers...
I think we've really been turning teams over at a high, high rate. But we're not doing many of the little things. Turnovers, I think we were a little better [tonight], but if we could just take care of the little things, we could really be playing some great basketball. We are doing a lot of good things compared to last year at this time... We did a good job offensively tonight.

On the atmosphere in the locker room during halftime...
Coach yelled a lot and we needed that. We needed that to come back to widen the gap in the second. Our defense had a lot of gaps so we tightened that up and brought it together.

When asked what the energy change felt like and if it was something that was distracting or used to fuel the team...
When the fans are right there in the action with you, it drives the team to come together that much more, and help give us that push that coach wants and expects from us. When he's yelling at you, you deliver. We have a high-quality basketball team, and that extra little bit gives up the confidence we need to perform to our best ability. We knew we were better than what we showed there in the first half.
