It was a historic day for the University of Minnesota women's basketball program Tuesday, when Marlene Stollings was named the 11th head coach in the history of the Golden Gopher team at an introductory press conference held at Williams Arena.

The day was also a busy one for the new head coach, but she was able to take a few minutes to chat with Corbu Stathes of the Gopher Radio Network and GopherSports.com in this exclusive one-on-one video interview.

Fans will be able to learn about Stollings' expectations for the program, her coaching and recruiting philosophies and much more.
