Gophers to Take Part in Making Strides Walk

Minneapolis Making Stride Event Page | Gophers' Making Strides Team Page

The University of Minnesota softball team will participate in the 2014 Minneapolis Making Strides event, which is set to take place Saturday, October 11 at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis.
The Gophers' fundrasing goal for the event is $5,000. To help the team reach its goal, visit the the team's page and click 'Donate Now'--every donation helps. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the American Cancer Society. New groups can also be formed and can attend the event.
Donations will also be collected at the team's first fall game versus North Dakota State Sept. 27 at 2 p.m at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. Admission to the game is free.
