MINNEAPOLIS -- Gopher Athletics today launched NothingShortOfGreatness.com, a website dedicated to sharing the latest news and details surrounding the department's ongoing fundraising campaign to update student-athlete development facilities.

The new website provides visitors with information about the proposed facilities - including preliminary renderings from early planning stages - and facts about the department's need for these updated facilities. The site also includes video clips from Gopher student-athletes, head coaches and prominent athletic alumni, as well as Director of Athletics Norwood Teague, discussing the need and the value of these facilities. In addition to learning more about the facilities plan, visitors can donate to the campaign through the website. The responsive design of the site will allow users to explore its content from their desktop or laptop computer, tablet or mobile phone.

The facilities plan calls for construction of a new Student-Athlete Center for Excellence, a Football Development Center (comprised of two buildings) and a Basketball Development Center. In addition to these facilities, the Gibson-Nagurski indoor practice facility will be renovated for Gopher Olympic sports teams, and other existing spaces will be reimagined for the wrestling and women's gymnastics teams, among others.

The campaign has built strong momentum in recent weeks, punctuated by a $25 million donation from Land O' Lakes to not only Gopher Athletics, but the entire University. As part of the commitment, Land O'Lakes will receive naming rights to the new Center for Excellence, which will serve as the hub of the new Athletic Village.
