MINNEAPOLIS (Gophersports.com) - FOX Sports North has added an additional pair of Gopher Hockey games to its 2014-15 college hockey broadcast schedule, bringing Minnesota's total number of televised games to 29 for the season.

The Gophers' nonconference road contest at St. Cloud State on Oct. 31 will be played at 7:30 p.m. CT while Minnesota will play at Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on FOX Sports North PLUS.

Additionally, game times for the remaining four nonconference games have also been finalized including the season-opening Ice Breaker Tournament in South Bend, Ind. The Gophers will open the regular-season at 1 p.m. CT against Minnesota Duluth to kick off the event at Compton Family Ice Arena on Oct. 10 and will then play at either 11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 12, depending on outcomes. Minnesota's nonconference game at Boston College on Nov. 28 has been scheduled for a 5 p.m., puck drop while the Maroon & Gold will play at Northeastern on Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.

The 94th season of Gopher Hockey will see the Maroon & Gold look to defend the inaugural Big Ten regular-season conference title. Minnesota has won three-straight regular-season crowns entering the 2014-15 campaign and has reached the NCAA Frozen Four in two of the last three seasons including a national runner-up finish last year in Philadelphia. Minnesota opens the season with an exhibition game against the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology at Mariucci Arena on Oct.
