"Just a tremendous game environment. That's what you want to play in for a women's game. Two great teams. We just beat a really good team. When you talk about seeing Minnesota live-just their toughness, their aggressiveness-they gave us fits. (It was a) game of runs. I was really proud (of our ability) to come into a building like this. Unbelievably tough to keep our poise and our composure, and I just think our team got better today."
On the Terrapins' offensive rebounding…
"That was something that we really stressed. When you talk about the zone, sometimes it's really hard to box out. You don't have a specific man. I thought we were very active across the board, when you talk about how our guards and how our posts rebound. It's been something in terms of our identity that we were able to get some second chance opportunities on their tough defense."
On playing against Minnesota's zone defense…
"This was one of the most challenging zones we've played against, when you talk about how they move, and really having to find the holes in the zone. I thought we were patient within it, and really got started with Lexie (Brown) penetrating and getting kicks for people. Then it kind of fed to the team in terms of being able to get her some easy looks."
