On Minnesota as an opponent...
They were tough to guard off the dribble, when they go small they have three drivers - with Morris they have four.

Minnesota kept coming, we obviously got enough stops to win, but we didn't get a lot.

We were changing defenses to try and keep them off balance, but to their credit they effectively attacked the different defensive rims.

On the heart of the team...
I don't think we could find another more heart breaking way to lose than what we've done but I'm proud of the guys. They fought back. We showed great heart. They showed great heart. There's guys in that locker room balling crying and it's January so we need to stay positive. That was a difficult one but we need to keep moving along.
On being in the bottom half of the league...
The first half, they were playing with the weight of the world on their shoulders a little bit. They were just worrying too much. We're feeling like we're better than 0-5 in this league, well 0-4 at the time and I think that's weighing on them.

On Iowa's keys to success...
We got stops. I think they're length really got to us. We're small. I just thought that we played looser in the second half. That first half we were really really tight and I was worried about that. I was worried because we've been so close, I mean we've lost four games by one or two processions. I know our guys believe they are better than this.
On if Pitino thought that Mathieu had enough time to get the layup off...
He did. He had time. No, I don't think he had it. I saw it and I didn't think it was good. I'm not sure how close it was.

I think he's a really good player. I think he's a really, really good player. And he does things that really good players do.
