NHL: Alums Notch Four Goals, Eight Points on Saturday

MINNEAPOLIS (GopherSports.com) -- Gopher Hockey alums had a great night in the NHL on Saturday, scoring a total of four goals and eight points including an overtime winner and a Gopher-to-Gopher tally.
Among the goals was this overtime tally from Phil Kessel as Pittsburgh topped Nashville 2-1.
Another one-goal game saw a pair of Gophers team up for a goal in a 3-2 win for the New York Islanders over the St. Louis Blues as Kyle Okposo found the net off a setup from Nick Leddy.
Nick Bjugstad and the Florida Panthers had a nice 6-2 win over Alex Goligoski and the Dallas Stars. Bjugstad ended the night with a goal and an assist while Goligoski also notched an assist.
Finally, Thomas Vanek had a snipe in Minnesota's 3-0 win over Anaheim -- the Wild face off against Blake Wheeler and the Winnipeg Jets tonight.
Additionally, Paul Martin had one assist in his return to the San Jose line up.
