Garrison's 68 Highlights Day Two at LVCS

Oct. 26, 2015 BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Sophomore Sabrine Garrison moved within one stroke of the top-five after carding a four-under-par 68 on Monday, highlighting the Minnesota women's golf team's performance at the second round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.
As a team, the Gophers remained in a tie for 12th place with Indiana and Long Beach State at nine-under-par (284-283-567).
Garrison, who is tied for 11th at seven-under for the tournament (69-68-137), shaved a stroke from her first round score as she finished the day with a bogey-free performance, one off her career low round which came at the Boulder Creek Golf Club a year ago. Junior Emie Peronnin posted her second-straight even-par round and is tied for 54th place (72-72-144).
Sophomore Heather Ciskowski is one stroke behind, tied for 60th at one-over (72-73-145), with sophomore Celia Kuenster (76-70-146) and freshman Muyu Wu (71-75-146) among a tie for 71st.
Individual competitor Maggie Heggerston is tied for 100th, as the freshman sits at nine-over-par (77-76-153).
San Jose State leads the field at -26 while the Spartans' My Leander (-12) has a one-stroke lead heading into the final round.
