Athletes Village Groundbreaking Livestream

At 11 a.m (Central) Friday morning, Gopher Athletics will host University leaders and supporters at the ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Athletes Village. For those who can't attend in-person, every minute of the event will be streamed live via BTN2Go. A direct link to the livestream can be found on NothingShortOfGreatness.com. Updates from the event will also be available by following Minnesota Gophers on Facebook and Twitter.
The event will begin with several key University leaders and project supporters speaking about the impact of the Athletes Village project before they shovel out the first bits of earth to symbolically advance the project. Snacks and refreshments will be served during a social after the program, and the University of Minnesota pep band, cheerleaders and Goldy will provide entertainment throughout the event.
