Gopher Sports: Who is the biggest prankster on the team?
Troy Traxler: The biggest prankster on the team is Ty McDevitt because he's always trying to get people to believe something totally false.
GS: What has been your favorite moment as a Gopher so far?
TT: My favorite moment as a Gopher so far has been when being a part of a walk off win vs. Purdue in 2014.
GS: Who makes the best web gems currently in the majors?
TT: The best web gems currently being made in the MLB is Manny Machado because the guy has a rocket for an arm and makes unbelievable diving plays while throwing out runners by multiple steps on plays that should be close plays.
GS: What's the best piece of advice you've received from a Minnesota coach?
TT: The best piece of advice I've received by the Gopher coaching staff is to "Try Easier". Its good because sometimes people get so stressed out, making them tense up but when relaxed, a better outcome always follows.
GS: Do you have any superstitions?
TT: My superstitions are pretty simple, always tie my right shoe first then my left shoe, I always put my left batting glove before my right batting glove and if I play well the night before, my schedule or routine is almost exact the next day.
GS: Who is your favorite baseball player all-time?
TT: My favorite baseball player of all time is Ken Griffey Jr. and Jacque Jones because both could play the outfield like nobody else and both had 5 tools. Both were extremely fun to watch.
GS: What are you looking forward to this season?
TT: I am looking forward to playing for a winning team this spring!
