Banham on B1G Weekly Honor Roll

Rachel Banham has been named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll. The redshirt senior guard was the only player in the conference to score 30 points in a game last week.
Banham scored 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting against Maine. She connected on six of her nine 3-point attempts. Banham poured in 16 points in the first quarter alone.
Through the first two games of the season, Banham has 52 points, and 2,231 for her career. She is 55 shy of setting the school career scoring record.
The Gophers will play at Kent State on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Central. Next, they will travel to Puerto Rico for the San Juan Shootout. Video of Minnesota's games against Stetson (Nov. 27) and Auburn (Nov. 28) will be available on SportTours.net.
