Zhou Named B1G Diver of the Week

Yu Zhou was selected as the Big Ten Diver of the Week after her performances at the Georgia Tech Invite, announced today by the conference office. This is Zhou's fifth conference honor of the season, and the eighth of her career.

Zhou swept the women's diving competition over a field of over 40 divers in Atlanta, Georgia, earning first-place finishes on the 1-meter (330.40 points), 3-meter (369.00), and platform (360.30) events. Each of Zhou's marks were NCAA Zone qualifying scores.

Minnesota swimming and diving will host the annual Jean K. Freeman Invite next Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5.
