Gophers to Host Intrasquad

MINNEAPOLIS – The Golden Gopher women's track & field team is hosting its annual Intrasquad Meet at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse on Friday. Fans can get their first look at the 2016 Gophers.
The team will be split into Maroon and Gold teams, and action gets underway at 2:30 p.m. CT with the women's high jump. The first event on the track is the men's 60-meter dash at 4 p.m. The complete schedule for the Intrasquad Meet is listed below.
The top four finishes in each event will be scored (5-3-2-1), and only two from each team can score per event. The 4x400m relay will not be scored.
Intrasquad Field Events
2:30 p.m.: Women's high jump
3:15 p.m.: Men's weight throw, women to follow; men's and women's shot put to follow weight throw
3:30 p.m.: Men's and women's pole vault
3:30 p.m.: Men's and women's long jump
4:00 p.m.: Men's high jump
4:30 p.m.: Men's and women's triple jump
Intrasquad Track Events
4:00 p.m.: 60m men
4:15 p.m.: 1,000m men, women to follow
4:30 p.m.: 600m men, women to follow
4:45 p.m.: 300m men, women to follow
5:00 p.m.: 60m hurdles women, men to follow
5:30 p.m.: 4x400m relay men, women to follow
