Two Gophers Named to Canada's Nations Cup Team

CALGARY, Alta. - Senior goaltender Amanda Leveille and Gopher alum Kelly Terry have been named to the Canada National Women's Development Team roster that will compete at the 2016 Nations Cup.
Twenty-two players were named to Canada's roster, including two goaltenders, seven defensemen, and 13 forwards.
The team looks to defend its gold medal at the 2016 Nations Cup, which will occur from Jan. 4-7, 2016 in Füssen, Germany.
Club team performance and past performances with Team Canada were used to select the roster chosen by scouts and head coach Dwayne Gylywoychuk.
Terry scored 155 points (57g-98a) in 158 games as a forward with the Gophers from 2010-11 to 2013-14.
Leveille has played in 93 games for the Gophers, including 11 during the 2015-16 season, posting a 1.19 goals against average and a .945 save percentage.
