Highlights: Mid-Season

A young Minnesota team ââ'¬" one on which a senior has yet to wrestle a varsity match ââ'¬" came into this season knowing the first two months would demand a lot of them. Since opening the season in early November, the Gophers have wrestled nine duals and a pair of tournaments ââ'¬" the Daktronics Open to start the season and the Cliff Keen Invitational four weeks ago.
With the starting lineup already wrestling more than 150 matches this season, there were plenty of great moments from which to choose to assemble this year's mid-season highlights.
Minnesota will get back on the mat in its final in-season tournament of the season this Friday and Saturday (Jan. 1 and 2), when the Gophers compete at the Southern Scuffle. Matches will begin at 8:00 a.m. CT on Friday morning.
