Coach's Corner: February 25

In the new episode of Coach's Corner, Gopher Wrestling Head Assistant Coach Brandon Eggum examines the team's performance last Saturday in the quarterfinals of the NWCA National Duals. Minnesota fell to No. 5 Cornell, 19-17, snapping a streak of three consecutive National Duals championships.
The Gophers split 10 matches with the Big Red, with bonus points ultimately making the difference in the final score. Eggum highlights performances by No. 1 Chris Dardanes, who remained undefeated at 133 this year, No. 4 Nick Dardanes, who scored his 33rd career major decision in his match at 141, and victories by No. 4 Logan Storley (174), No. 5 Scott Schiller (197) and No. 14 Michael Kroells (285).
