Gophers Conclude Entrada Classic in Eighth Place

While Peronnin carded the low Gophers round of the tournament, a pair of seniors in Anna Laorr and Carmen Laguna earned top-20 finishes. Laorr finished the tournament in a four-way tie for eighth place at four-over-par (72-70-76--218), her second top-10 finish of the year. Classmate Carmen Laguna remained consistent on Tuesday with her third 75 of the event, among six players tied for 19th place at 225.
Peronnin completed the tournament tied for 32nd at 12-over-par (72-87-69--228), while the other three Gophers in the field were within two strokes of each other. Freshman Sabrine Garrison was 73rd (+32, 79-84-85--248), while freshman Heather Ciskowski completed 54 holes as an individual competitor and finished 74th at 33-over (84-88-77--249). Fellow freshman Celia Kuenster was 75th at 34-over-par (85-77-88--250).
BYU's Alex White took home medalist honors at eight-under-par 208 (67-73-68), while California won the team title as the only school to finish below par at eight-under (284-284-288--856).
Minnesota returns to action in two weeks, traveling to Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., for the Web.com Intercollegiate at the Marsh Landing Country Club.
