MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Coming off a fourth straight Big Ten Championship title, the Golden Gophers will look to continue their success at the 2015 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships this Thursday, March 19 through Saturday, March 21 in Greensboro, N.C. Those representing Minnesota include eight individual swimmers, two relay alternates and four divers.

Highlighting the Gophers' roster includes two swimmers ranked first in the nation, including Kierra Smith in the 200 breast and freshman Brooke Zeiger in the 400 IM. Four divers also marks the highest number that has ever qualified for the NCAA Championships at Minnesota, that number is also tied with Virginia Tech for the highest number of divers qualified in the nation.

At the 2014 NCAA Championships, Minnesota recorded a tenth place finish with 136.5 points. Their finish was the highest among Big Ten schools. Some top-notch performances from the Gophers included now-alum diver Maggie Keefer individually scoring 29 points, with her highest finish being fourth on the one-meter. Breaststroke swimmer Kierra Smith place sixth in the 200 as a sophomore, while Kiera Janzen finished seventh in both the 500 free and 1650 free.
