Gophers Eighth After 36 Holes at Web.com

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - Senior Sarinee Thitiratanakorn finished the day one-over-par as the Minnesota women's golf team completed 36 holes Monday at the Web.com Intercollegiate at Marsh Landing Country Club. Thitiratanakorn (73-72--145), competing individually, is tied for 15th after two rounds while as a team, the Gophers are eighth at 17-over-par (298-295--593).
One shot behind her classmate is senior Anna Laorr, who posted back-to-back rounds of 73 to sit in a tie for 27th at two-over par 146. Sophomore Emie Peronnin is tied for 40th at five-over (72-77--149), with senior Carmen Laguna one stroke behind her at +6 (76-74--150), tied for 47th. Freshman Celia Kuenster stands two strokes back at eight-over-par (79-73--152), among an eight-way tie for 59th. Also among that group is freshman Sabrine Garrison (77-75--152).
Miami's Delfina Acosta leads the field at nine-under-par, pacing her Hurricanes squad to an eight-shot lead at 13-under-par 563.
The final round of the Web.com Intercollegiate commences on Tuesday morning with an 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.
