MINNEAPOLIS (GopherSport.com) -- The 106th Drake Relays highlights a jam-packed weekend of action for the University of Minnesota men's track & field program while the Gophers will also send competitors to the Triton Invitational in San Diego, the Bolstorftt Invitational at Macalesterand the Drake Alternative at Gustavus Aldophus.
Blankenship Named to U.S. World Relays Squad
Gopher All-American and Stillwater, Minn., native Ben Blankenship was named to the U.S. roster for the 2015 IAAF World Relays, set for May 2-3 in Nassau, Bahamas. A four-time All-American, Blankenship will compete as part of the men's distance medley relay team.Â
Roy Griak Snotty Nose Tough Golf Open and Bike Ride
The 18th annual Roy Griak Snotty Nose Tough Golf Open and 11th annual Bike Ride, sponsored by the University of Minnesota track & field and cross country programs will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Dellwood Country Club.Â

Weekend Rewind
The Gophers totaled 17 individual titles last weekend between four meets -- the Carleton Relays, the Tom Cat Twilight, the Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational.Â

Minnesota Names Three Captains for 2015
Three seniors will serve as captains for the 2015 campaign -- Justin Barber, Blayne Dulian and Mark Jennings. Barber and Jennings are two veterans of Minnesota's throwing corps while Dulian, who also served as captain of the cross country team last fall, runs distance for the Gophers.
