Photo Gallery Medina Golf and Country Club once again played host to the annual Dan Morgan Open, hosted by the University of Minnesota baseball program. The yearly event raised money for the development of the baseball program in honor of former Gophers All-American Dan Morgan's honor.
Over 120 golfers from seven decades - scaling as far back as the 1950's - took part in the event. The four-person group of Christian Anderson, Rob Bruner, Jay Gagner and Matt Loberg took first in the tournament. Participants also had the chance to win prizes for closest to pin, longest drive and longest putt throughout the course.
The event came to a conclusion after a dinner and prize raffle were put on by head coach John Anderson. Top memorabilia included signed jerseys and bats from current and former professional players, roundtrip airfare tickets and tickets to various Gophers sporting events.
