Summer Update: Kendall Heitzner

Throughout the summer we will be getting an update on what some of the Golden Gopher women’s tennis players are up to. This week we caught up with Senior Kendall Heitzner.
Gophers Sports: What have you been up to so far this summer? Have you seen any of the other players? Any big plans the rest of it?
Kendall Heitzner: I just completed a two month internship with the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, D.C. and loved it! I have also been playing tennis, working out, spending time with family and friends and am about to take a few different trips in August. I have not had a chance yet to see any of my teammates but plan to see a few of them this month!
GS: Favorite spot to hang out on campus and why?
KH: I would probably have to say Qdoba because I love their breakfast burritos. Jessika (Mozia) and I also find ourselves spending quite some time at Target Express on campus...and always end up buying things we do not need!
GS: What teammate would you pick to partner up with for survival in the Hunger Games and why?
KH: This is actually really funny because our team talks about who would survive best in the wild a lot. I would probably choose to partner with Julia (Courter). That girl seems to have so many things come up in her life on a daily basis and can be all over the place but always comes through in the end and is also okay with the fact that sometimes you just do not have time to shower for a couple days. I could just really picture her thriving in the wild.
GS: Favorite summertime jam?
KH: Anything Sam Hunt
GS: Celebrity crush?
KH: Definitely Chris Hemsworth
GS: What actor/actress would you choose to portray you in a movie and why?
KH: Friends is one of my favorite TV shows and Ross is my favorite character so I think I would get a pretty good laugh out of watching David Schwimmer trying to portray me in a movie.
GS: What are you most excited for when the school year starts back up?
KH: I am so excited to just be back on campus and see everyone! The beginnings of each year are always so fun and there is so much going on around campus, I love it!
