Minnesota Head Coach Marlene Stollings
On finding ways to score when the Gophers are not making as many 3-pointers:
"I thought we got great looks, and we missed a lot of them at the basket, that's something we've got to clean up. You know, those are great drives, we've just got to collect and finish at the basket. And we will, we'll get better at that, but the looks that we wanted we absolutely got, as Rachel alluded to. Certainly.:
On if she liked seeing Allina Starr looking for her shot more:
"We do. She's great at penetrating to the basket and she has great athleticism, and great speed, and we're going to finish those shots. We're certainly going to utilize her in that capacity, at the four spot, going against bigger people, and attacking their lack of foot speed. She has superior athleticism, for sure."
Senior Guard Mikayla Bailey
On the game-winning shot:
"Yeah, before we went in for the play I told Carlie (Wagner), I'm like, 'Take it all the way. You've been making those all night,' and she got cut off and passed me the ball. And I just stayed relaxed and poised and hit the shot. And yeah, it just went in."
Senior Guard Rachel Banham
On teammates helping her out with scoring:
"Yeah, I think everyone stepped up. We ran really good plays to get people shots, Carlie to get some isos and Starr as well. I think we just executed it really well and that really helped us win."
On if the Hoosiers did anything different defensively to try and stop her in the second half:
"No, it was pretty much the same."
On being named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 20:
"It's awesome. I couldn't thank my teammates enough and my coaches you know, they've really set me up for that. Yeah, I'm just really happy it's obviously an honor and I just want to keep playing well."
