Minnesota now leads the all-time series with Northwestern by a 94-65 margin, including a 56-21 advantage in games played at Williams Arena, but today's game marked Minnesota's third-straight home setback versus the Wildcats.
MASON PACES GOPHERS
Nate Mason led the Gophers with 13 points and six assists, marking his fourth-straight game in double-figures. Mason was 3-of-7 from three-point range and committed just one turnover.
KONATE IN DOUBLE-FIGURES
Bakary Konate finished with 12 points and three rebounds, as he made 5-of-8 field goals, and all five were dunks. He entered the game with six dunks this season and 12 for his career.
McBRAYER LEADS IN REBOUNDING
Dupree McBrayer came off the bench to lead the Gophers with four rebounds, while scoring eight points. McBrayer made 2-of-4 field goals and was 4-of-6 at the free throw line.
